Several incidents that occurred in the downtown area at last years’ event raised concerns and City Council will be considering additional police enforcement and operational changes to address these concerns. Additional resources are also needed for the City and County to manage this event appropriately. If approved, the registration fees will increase dramatically to cover the additional costs.
