HP Communications is in the process of installing a fiber optics conduit within Rosecrans Avenue, running from Redondo Avenue east to Aviation Boulevard, turning south approximately 200 feet and then proceeding east across Aviation to a vault within the city of Hawthorne. The work is being done at night to lesson traffic impacts. Work hours are 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and the two eastbound right-hand lanes on Rosecrans Avenue will be closed. This portion of the project is expected to last two weeks or less.
