The Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department's annual Family Halloween Carnival is held every Halloween weekend at Manhattan Heights Community Center located at 1600 Manhattan Beach Boulevard. The event is designed for children ages 2 to 13. Children under the age of 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There will be face painting, haunted house and much, much more! All game booths are constructed by children in the Afterschool REC Program. The haunted house is designed and run by the teens in the Teen Center Program and recreation leaders.

7500 Push Up Challenge
One of the mission statements of the Parks and Recreation Department is to "Promote Health and Wellness." To help instill that in our participants and promote that philosophy, we would like you to take the challenge and help us reach a NEW goal of 7,500 push ups on the day of the carnival!
Teen Center Haunted House $1.00
The haunted house is created and operated by the participants of the Teen Center program (closed for periodic breaks). Requires tickets.
Food Stand $1.00 to $2.00
Pizza (pepperoni/cheese), water, juice, chips, granola bars, cotton candy and popcorn. Tickets required.
FREE Mad Science Show Manhattan Heights Field - 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM
On the baseball field we will have 2 shows from mad science. Highly interactive with fascinating science demonstrations such as chemical reactions, states of matter, bubbling potions, and amazing air pressure experiments!

Tickets will be sold at the Information Booth. Each ticket costs $1.00. Bills over $20.00 will not be accepted.
