1 Mile Owner/Dog Walk Fundraiser. All proceeds will go to benefit the Manhattan Beach Police Department K-9 Trust Fund. The Manhattan Beach Police Department K-9 Trust Fund is a non-profit organization that supports the care, feeding and on-going training of our police dogs.
This event is to promote fun and healthy exercise activities for pets and their owners. This event also furthers support of the Manhattan Beach Police Canine officer program. Families, individuals or anyone with or without a dog may walk.
The walk will begin in the lower parking lot of Fry’s Electronics (near the bridge), located at the corner of Sepulveda Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue. We will walk along the Veteran’s Parkway green belt, finish at Live Oak Park and celebrate the beginning of Manhattan Beach Pet Appreciation Day 2007 festivities.
Schedule:
- 9:30 AM Late registration & Check-In
- 10:30 AM Walk Begins
- 11:00 AM Finish-line Prize Drawing
Great giveaways to all participants:
- Each paid participant will receive a Walk ‘N Wag T-shirt.
- All dog participants will receive a give-away.
- All participants will be eligible to win the walk finish-line drawing.

If you are going to register on site the day of the event (September 30, 2007), the fee will be $25 and please have the exact dollar amount or make checks payable to Manhattan Beach K-9 Trust Fund.
All registration is tax deductable.
Rules and Regulations:
• All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6’ at all times. No retractable leashes please!
• Limit two dogs per walker.
• All dogs must be healthy and friendly.
• No other animals allowed on the walk.
