The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department Teen Center Big Bear Snowboarding Trips are open to all middle school and high school students living in Manhattan Beach, attending Manhattan Beach schools or to students whose parents work in the City of Manhattan Beach. All the trips this year will be going to Bear Mountain. There are extensive terrain parks and many areas for beginners. Transportation will be provided by Adventures America charter bus service. Amenities on the bus include T.V.s, bathroom and reclining seats. Skiers are also welcome to join. Lessons are available at Bear Mountain Ski School for an additional fee. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Basket check and snowboard check are available at the mountain. If you plan on renting your equipment on your own, please plan on renting locally to maximize time on the mountain.  You can also download the Teen Center Big Bear Snowboarding Trips Brochure (PDF).

Departure: 5:30 AM Return: 9:00 PM
Deadline:Four days prior to each trip date (NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION)
Pick Up/Drop Off: Marine Avenue Park, 1625 Marine Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
