Your journey takes you to the Chado Tea Room in Pasadena.  It will include 1 of 300 chocolate teas.  You will also be treated to lunch at the beautiful Renaissance Restaurant within the Chateau Elysee.  It was built in the 1920's; it is like taking a trip back to the 17th Century French Normandy.  You'll dine in beautiful surroundings overlooking a lovely garden and Romanesque fountain.  The desserts will amaze you as they are made by award winning pastry chefts.  The next stop is to a chef paradise store.  You will have time to shop for gadgets, gourmet items and kitchen supplies.  The final stop is at Compartes located in Brentwood, a 53 year old family operated chocolate factory and store.  Not only will you sample the best of the best chocolates of the world, your guide will share the history, mythology and joys of chocolate.
