Removal of lines and poles continues in Utility Underground District 2 (Ardmore Avenue to Poinsettia Avenue, and 2nd Street to 8th Street). Edison has completed all of its conversions, and has removed its wires and topping poles where Verizon and Time Warner are still present. Those poles hosting only electrical lines were to be removed starting in late March. The removal of Verizon and Time Warner lines, along with the taking down of their poles continues as scheduled. It is anticipated that this work will be finished in late fall or winter of 2008.
