Bring the whole family, including your favorite pet, to the 5th Annual Pet Appreciation Day and 2nd Annual Walk 'N Wag! Pet adoptions and licensing, Avid ID chips, vaccines and pet care education and products will all be available at the event. There will also be raffle giveaways, demonstrations, a silent auction and much more!
The 2nd Annual Walk 'N Wag is a one mile Owner/Pet Walk Fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the Manhattan Beach K-9 Trust Fund, which is a nonprofit organization that supports the care, feeding and ongoing training of our canine officers.
The walk will begin at 10:30 AM in the lower parking lot of Fry’s Electronics (near the bridge), located at the corner of Sepulveda Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue. Owners and their pets will walk along the Veterans Parkway green belt and finish at Live Oak Park to celebrate the beginning of the Manhattan Beach Pet Appreciation Day 2008 festivities.
