Today is the final day the Parks and Recreation Department Older Adults Program will accept applications for the Senior Advisory Committee.  All applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM.

The City of Manhattan Beach will accept applications until September 30, 2008 from residents interested in serving on the Senior Advisory Committee. The nine-member committee works in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department’s Older Adults Program to make recommendations regarding the delivery of senior programs, activities and policies.

Applications are available by downloading the Senior Advisory Committee Application (Word)/Senior Advisory Committee Application (PDF) or at the OASIS and the Older Adults Program, both located at the Joslyn Community Center, 1601 Valley Drive. Completed applications must be returned by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 to the Parks and Recreation Department located at City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, via email to Jan Buike, Older Adults Program Supervisor or via fax to (310) 802-5434.
