The Playground Program fall vacation days is a noncustodial enrichment program designed for children 6-12 years old. All residents and nonresident children are welcome to attend. Children under six are welcome to attend the program but must be accompanied by an adult or guardian with the approval and guidance of the recreation leader. Children are encouraged to participate in all scheduled activities; however, if they choose not to, alternate activities are available. All programs are supervised by trained recreation leaders.
The Fall Vacation Playground Program is a one-week program held November during Thanksgiving week. This program is concurrent with the Manhattan Beach Unified School District vacation schedule. There is a limit of 80 children maximum per week. Registration confirmation is required at the first day of the program.

What is Thanksgiving Crafts?
Number of Participants: Anyone who wants to participate
Equipment: Beads, glue, construction paper, string, sticks, foam, markers, crayons and lanyards
Participants will be able to make a variety of Thanksgiving crafts and decorations to use in their own home or to decorate Marine Avenue Park. Participants will also be making Pilgrim hats and Indian headdresses.
