What is Brain Freeze Day?
Equipment (provided): Ice blocks, hockey sticks, inflatable bowling pins
What to bring: Athletic shoes, a change of clothes and a towel
Can you handle all the ice? Today’s events are surrounded with ice and the last kid standing will win. The day will start with Ice Block Bowling over at Polliwog Park. The objective of Ice Block Bowling is to knock over large inflatable targets while riding down a hill on a block of ice. After lunch, all participants will enjoy homemade ice blended treats. In the afternoon, a fun game of ice hockey will be played on our back patio. At the Teen Center, we enjoy playing ice hockey on the pavement, but not with a solid black puck. Instead, we use small blocks of ice as our hockey pucks. This fun filled game gets intense when there’s several ice blocks used at a time!
