A time when family and friends are offered happiness and enjoyment. And that is precisely what has made the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest such a long standing tradition. This year’s 37th annual festival features bands direct from Germany, including, “The Express” who have been performing at the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest for over 15 years! Traditional festivities include the log Sawing Contest, Stein Holding Contest, safe Slam Beer Drinking contest, Chicken Dance and performances by a variety of authentic dance groups. The Budenstrasse offers a variety of arts and crafts exhibitors, children’s activities and the Highest Elevation Bier Garten in the U.S. The Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest has become Southern California’s favorite. The atmosphere is always charged with hospitality, laughter and camaraderie. And to add to the fun, we’ve included a guided tour around Big Bear Lake with costumed host. You and your group will learn the history of the lake and stories and antics that have made Big Bear Lake one of Southern California’s favorite destinations. 1 German full meal and dessert, one beer, wine or beverage of choice, a commemorative beer stein and a set of Oktoberfest party beads.
