The Older Adults Program and Poetry Circle will host an intergeneration event to honor 5 MCHS students who won this year’s Poetry Circle Award for excellence in poetry composition, and to launch the Poetry Circle’s new book, The Strange Part. The book will feature poems by those students, as well as work by Poetry Circle members. It is dedicated to the memories of long-time members Gwen Binegar, Joseph Lonero, and Sue Nelson Wortz. The festivities include readings by the students and Circle members, book signings, and refreshments. All are welcome!
