The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 PM as scheduled. Please view the City Calendar for any updates or cancellations. The Planning Commission is responsible for long-range planning activities, including major use permits, commercial planned development permits, zone changes, code amendments, and modification to long-range planning documents, including the City’s General Plan and Local Coastal Plan.

Meetings are broadcast live through Manhattan Beach Local Community Cable Channels (Time Warner Channel 8 and Verizon Channel 35), and Live Webcast via the City's website. Most meetings are rebroadcast at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM Fridays and Sundays following the Wednesday meeting on the Community Cable Channels.
