Join the City of Manhattan Beach, participating community grocery stores and Target on Saturday, February 28th for a Reusable Bag Give-Away event. 

Volunteers from Planet Pals, a local environmental group, will distribute one free reusable bag (while supplies last) to customers at Bristol Farms, Fresh and Easy, Grow the Produce Shop, Ralphs and Vons in Manhattan Beach starting at 10:00 AM. 

The City will provide 2,000 organic cotton reusable bags for distribution at the grocery stores for this event.  These bags were made in California by a company called The Inconvenient Bag.  The participating grocery stores have also donated their own store reusable bags that will be given away at the event.

Target will be hosting a Reusable Bag Give-Away event on Saturday the 28th as well.  From 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM store team members will hand out about 2,000 reusalbe bags to customers as they enter the store.

Please help us help the environment by bringing your reusable bag every time you shop!
