The City of Manhattan Beach, with guest curators Juanita Purner and Sharon Greco present: Coming Together, with Paintings by Margarte Lazzari featuring the most recent work from her Wild Biology series dates from 2006 to the present. These paintings build on her past style and themes, but also embody the robust, wild exuberance of natural phenomena. Lazzari layers imagery that has an open “architecture” or network quality, and draws from artistic, scientific, and religious sources.
