Along Manhattan Beach Boulevard to Aviation Boulevard

The community is invited to honor Officer Chad Swanson by lining Manhattan Beach Boulevard as the Manhattan Beach Police Department escorts the Swanson Family, Manhattan Beach Police Department personnel, and Manhattan Beach staff to SeaCoast Grace Church.

We kindly ask you to wear red, white and blue and bring American flags to show your support. The procession will begin at the Manhattan Beach Police Department at 9:00 AM and go eastbound on Manhattan Beach Boulevard to Aviation Boulevard.

Rolling street closures will occur down Manhattan Beach Boulevard and a brief closure of Valley Drive between 15th Street and Manhattan Beach Boulevard as the procession begins.

For those who are unable to attend, the Manhattan Beach Police Department appreciates the outpouring of condolences and encourages the community to donate to Fund A Hero via the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) created by the Manhattan Beach Police Officers’ Association in support of Officer Swanson’s family.
