FREE GARDENING AND LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP
Are you concerned about saving water, but also want to maintain your garden and other landscaping? If so, please join the Surfrider Foundation and West Basin Municipal Water District for a free workshop on how to develop an ocean friendly garden or landscape using the latest sustainable materials and techniques.
Water conservation is of the utmost importance, and you will learn how to create a beautiful garden using native plants, water-efficient irrigation devices, permeable materials and on-site water retention techniques.
To attend, you must RSVP with the South Bay Environmental Services Center by calling (310) 371-7222, ext. 200 or registering online. For more information please refer to the Ocean Friendly Landscape Workshop flyer (PDF).
And as a special addition to this event, you can also register for a presentation on Recycling Graywater (PDF) that morning at 8:30 AM, given by actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr.
