Southern California Edison (SCE) has scheduled work that will take place in Manhattan Beach and result in two planned power outages during the week.
The first outage will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and will take place on Tuesday, June 9th. The streets impacted by this outage will be 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and the south side of 23rd Street between Redondo Avenue and Herrin Avenue.
The second outage will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and will take place on Thursday, June 11th. The streets impacted will be the east side of Harkness Street, Faymont Avenue, and the west side of Wendy Way between Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Marine Avenue.
All customers have been notified by SCE regarding this outage. SCE crews will be completing the final portions of the high voltage changes to their electrical system in this neighborhood.
After these scheduled outages, SCE will still need to perform minor wire configuration work in these neighborhoods but customer outages will be for shorter durations. SCE will notify all customers prior to this work being performed.
