The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department and Chivas USA are proud to announce the "Manhattan Beach Community Night" which will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 during the Chivas USA vs. Los Angeles Galaxy game at the Home Dept Center in Carson. Beach City residents receive a special ticket discount and a Chivas USA hat for every ticket purchased! Starting at just $22! This year, a portion of the proceeds will go towards GrowingGreat School Garden and Nutrition Education Programs as well as a new athletic field scoreboard for Mira Costa High School!

The Parks and Recreation Department will be providing FREE bus transportation to and from the Home Depot Center! The pick up and drop off point will be at Manhattan Heights Community Center located at 1600 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. There is limited availability so reservations are required. To reserve a seat on the bus please contact David Ibarra via email dibarra@citymb.info.
