The City of Manhattan Beach is holding a public meeting for property owners in Utility Underground District 8 to introduce the assessment method of apportionment for their district.  District 8 is the undergrounding district whose boundaries are 8th Street to 15th Street, from Manhattan Avenue to The Strand. City staff and the City's Assessment Engineer, Harris and Associates will address the following:

• an overview of the schedule of events for District 8
• assessment methodology and
• current 2009 estimated assessment ranges
