On Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 6:30 PM in the Joslyn Community Center (1601 North Valley Drive), the City of Manhattan Beach will be hosting a public meeting for property owners in Utility Underground District 13 to introduce the assessment method of apportionment for their district. District 13 is the undergrounding district identified by the boundaries of Marine Avenue to Rosecrans Avenue, from Alma Avenue to Highland Avenue. Topics to be presented by City staff and the City's Assessment Engineer, Harris & Associates, include an overview of the schedule of events for District 13, assessment methodology, and current 2009 estimated assessment ranges.
