The current Valley Drive Resurfacing Project is proceeding on schedule! City staff would like to thank all residents and motorists for their patience throughout this period of construction. The next important phase of the project will be the actual application of the new asphalt overlay which will take place on Friday, December 18th, and Monday, December 21st. The nature of this work will require temporary street closures and re-routing of traffic along portions of Valley Drive throughout the day. City staff encourages planning alternate routes if travel through this area is necessary on these two upcoming days. As always, the Contractor hopes to keep any inconveniences to a minimum, and all parking restrictions will be posted 72 hours in advance. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this much-needed Federal Stimulus infrastructure improvement project!
