There are 4 EZ Ways to register:

We may be busy this time of year, we recommend filling out the registration form (PDF) in advance. You will be required to fill out a registration form regardless if you have registered previously.

Mail in

Complete a registration form (PDF) with payment method. Please sign the waiver at the bottom and cardholder’s signature if you are using credit card.

Drop Box

You may drop off your registration form in drop boxes located in front of City Hall and near the Library drop box at any time. Pay using check or credit card. Please put your registration form and payment in an envelope, with ATTN: Parks and Recreation Registration on the front of the envelope

  • Make sure to sign Release of Liability and Cardholder Signature if paying with a credit card
  • Receipt will be emailed to you

We do not accept registrations over the phone.

 

Online Registration

  1. Click on the Activity Registration button on the City's Homepage or go to the online registration website.

  2. You will be redirected to the online registration system.

  3. You may now create an account, log in to your online activity registration account or browse through current activities and classes.

Creating A New Account

  1. Go to the City's Homepage and click on the "Activity Registration" link located in the lower left corner of the homepage.

  2. You will be redirected to the online registration system.

  3. Once on the online activity registration website's homepage, click on the "Create an Account" link.

  4. Completely fill in the information on each screen and click next.

  5. In five easy steps you will have created a new account.

Trouble Logging On

If you are having trouble logging in or get locked out, please do not create a new account since this will confuse the system and make it more difficult for you to login.

Your login will always be the email you used to create your account. The password is case sensitive.

If you forgot your password, click on the Forgot Password Link or call (310) 802-5448 to reset your password.

Type in the email that you used to create the account and your temporary password will be emailed to you. Forgot Password Screenshot

 

Having Trouble Finding An Activity

  1. Activities are listed alphabetically.
  2. All activities have a corresponding activity number. The activity numbers can be used to quickly find an activity.
  3. You may use the “Filter Search By” options located in the left column to search by location, time/date, age category, etc.
  4. You may also search by activity number or keyword using the search field.
  5. You can also resort the displayed list of activities by name, activity, number, age, etc. using the Filter By dropdown menu.

The Dates and Times Aren't Listed

Click on the title or blue more button to view all times and dates. The majority of the City of Manhattan Beach classes have multiple dates and times listed under one title. Blue Button with the text, "More." Screenshot of Activity Title

 

Other Topics

My Child Is Too Young Or Too Old For The Activity Age approval can only be made by the activity supervisor or instructor. Please call (310) 802-5448 to be directed to the specific supervisor for that class.
I Registered For The Wrong Activity

DO NOT re-register for the correct class, you will be charged twice and then you have to come to City Hall to fill out a Refund Request Form.

Call (310) 802-5448 and we will transfer the participant to the correct class. The funds will be adjusted from one class to the next. If the class is less expensive, the difference will be refunded. If the class costs more, a payment for the difference will be required.
