The next part of the Vitality City initiative is the design and implementation of the Aviation Boulevard Bike Path.  Our jumping off point will be the research and recommendations of Dan Burden, international expert on walkable and liveable community design.  Together, we can make Aviation Boulevard not just a street, but also a destination that promotes active living and community in the Beach Cities.

If you want to see our community continue to grow in vitality, please attend the upcoming Aviation Boulevard Community Input Meeting.  Be a part of this incredible transformation, and give your valuable input into making this project one that supports well-being for everyone.  Your thoughts and opinions matter and will help us ensure that this new Aviation Boulevard is safer, more efficient, and beneficial to businesses and citizens alike.

The meeting will be held on February 8, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. at the Redondo Beach Main Library.  Parking in the underground structure can be accessed on Carnelian and Diamond.  On-street parking is available on Carnelian and North Broadway.
