As your City Manager, I am committed to ensuring that Manhattan Beach continues to thrive and grow during this transition period. Whether it is public safety, infrastructure, or community services, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for all residents, even amidst challenges that may come our way.

My Key Priorities include:

• Advancing Council Direction: My immediate focus is to ensure that we are making progress on the goals and initiatives set forth by the City Council. This includes implementing the work plan items and addressing the specific priorities identified by our elected officials and crucial for our community’s long-term success.
• Managing Lot 3 Emergency: One of our immediate challenges is addressing the ongoing situation at Lot 3. Rest assured, we are prioritizing this issue while ensuring that our downtown area continues to thrive. We are working diligently to manage this emergency in a way that minimizes disruption and allows our businesses and residents to continue to flourish.
• Supporting Downtown Vitality: We are committed to maintaining the vibrancy of our downtown area. We are exploring strategies to attract visitors, support local businesses, and enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors.
• Ensuring High-Quality Municipal Services: Our dedicated and talented staff is committed to providing excellent services to our community. We are working to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that our residents continue to receive the support they need. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our employees, the City of Manhattan Beach remains a vibrant and thriving community.

I believe that by focusing on these priorities, we will emerge stronger than ever. I am grateful for your continued support and understanding as we work together to maintain our beautiful City and build a brighter future for the City of Manhattan Beach.
