The Manhattan Beach Pier is approximately 928-foot and stretches from the end of Manhattan Beach Boulevard over the Pacific Ocean. It was built in 1920, and in 1995, it was listed as a State Historical Landmark as the oldest concrete Pier on the West Coast. The Pier's seafoam green handrails are considered a contributing feature of the Pier’s historical association along with the classic white lights in replicas of the original 1920s lamposts. The Pier also includes the Volleyball Walk of Fame, featuring plaques dedicated to past winners of the Manhattan Beach Open beach volleyball tournament.

At the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier is the Roundhouse Aquarium and Teaching Center.
