Every nine and a half months the City Council conducts a reorganization at which time a new Mayor is selected.  The Mayor has the discretionary responsibility to review the standing list of City Council assignments to various government and community-related committees, and make changes as he or she feels are necessary.  Once City Council has ratified the assignments, they will remain in effect until the next City Council rotation.  Here you will find information regarding City Councilmember assignments to various committees.
