City Hall Hours are Mondays through Thursdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The following schedule is for the Community Development counter located at 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach CA, 90266. You may reach the Community Development Department at (310) 802-5500.

Between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM Community Development in-person services are limited to Records Research on the self-service public computer. All on-line services continue to be available via the Citizen Self Service Portal during these hours.

Apply for your permit online

Community Development now accepts permit applications online. Please visit the Citizen Self Service Portal to start your application process.

To submit a Public Records Request please log in to the Public Records Center.

You will need to log in to submit and monitor your public records requests. If you are new user you will need to create a new account. All communications will be sent directly to your email account.
