Construction and Demolition Recycling: Waste Management Plans (WMP)
To encourage environmentally - responsible building, the State of California and the City of Manhattan Beach require that all permitted demolition and construction projects deconstruct/recycle/divert from the landfill at least 65% of the total waste generated at the site. Documentation must be submitted before final inspection accounting for all tons and proof of 65% recycling. Click on the following link to view the waste management plan application:
