Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser to Support Local Special Olympics

Police Officers Partner with Restaurant Staff to Raise Money For Local Special Olympics Athletes During “Tip-A-Cop” Event

On Tuesday, November 7, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, join the Manhattan Beach Police Department for the annual “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser.  Diners at Tin Roof Bistro will enjoy an extra level of service when police officers and professional staff provide guests with a memorable dining experience and exceptional service and collect tips and donations to benefit South Bay Special Olympics’ athletes. All tips are a tax deductible donation to Special Olympics, which provides athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the South Bay area.

Since 2012, the Manhattan Beach Police Department’s Tip-A-Cop events have raised over $55,000 for local Special Olympics athletes.
