The Cultural Arts Division is seeking submissions for the Why City Hall Art Exhibition!
Exhibition Dates: January 30, 2015 to February 20, 2015
Exhibition Location: Manhattan Beach City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
Theme: Why I love Manhattan Beach
Entry Rules
- Open to artists of all ages who are Manhattan Beach residents or enrolled in a Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation art class.
- Artwork can be in any medium and may be two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D).
- Limit 1 submission per artist.
- This will be a juried show.
- Submission of artwork does not guarantee that it will be exhibited at City Hall due to space restriction.
- All submissions will be displayed in a digital photo album on the city’s website.
- DEADLINE: December 17, 2014 at 5:00 PM. Entries must be received by this date. Late work will not be accepted.
How to Submit Artwork
(Deadline: December 17, 2014 at 5:00 PM - No late entries will accepted)
- Download and fill out the entry form (PDF) or pick up an entry form at any City facility.
- Submit the completed entry form along with JPEG images of the artwork, with artist name (required) via email.
- You may submit the entry form ONLY via mail or walk-in (Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Images must still be submitted via email. No hard copies or CDs of images will be accepted via mail or delivery.

The City of Manhattan Beach does not provide insurance. Therefore, the artist/lender should provide his/her own insurance if necessary. The Exhibition Program is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to any work, equipment, or personal injury beyond the City’s liability policies.
