Join Mike Garcia from Enviroscape at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden to learn about the latest drip irrigation systems that can cut water use by 50%.
Mike will go over the latest in both above and below ground systems such as Rain Bird’s “Copper Shield" technology that uses tiny strips of copper to create negative ions that repel roots, thus preventing clogging of drip irrigation emitters. This method is non-chemical, effective and efficient.
Drip irrigation systems are also exempt from the City's one-day per week Stage 3 Drought restrictions.
This free class is located in the Amphitheater in the center of the Botanical Garden, on the west side of Polliwog Park. Free parking is available next to the Botanical Garden on Peck Avenue, or the adjacent lot at the end of Peck Avenue off Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
