The Manhattan Beach Fire Department presents: Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Training
Please join the Manhattan Beach Fire Department as they help prepare the community plan and prepare for disasters. Preparedness is defined by DHS/FEMA as "a continuous cycle of planning, organizing, training, equipping, exercising, evaluating, and taking corrective action in an effort to ensure effective coordination during incident response." When a large natural disaster occurs it is not uncommon for emergency personnel to not be able to respond to service for at least 72 hours. Are you prepared?
*This presentation is open to the first 80 citizens who have not already done the Map Your Neighborhood training for their block.
Please RSVP to Cleo Vasquez via email or call (310) 802-5203. Registration is requested.
