In partnership with local business organizations, the City of Manhattan Beach would like to invite all local business owners to a kick-off seminar to learn more about how to participate in Small Business Saturday.
Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM in the Police/Fire Conference room (420 15th St.) as Jason Lalak, the national head of the Small Business Saturday Coalition, makes a presentation about successful strategies small business have used to increase traffic counts and publicize specials for Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday has become a national event in recent years intended to promote and celebrate the importance of small shops and restaurants across America. Taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26), it has gained traction in recent years as shoppers take advantage of unique events and shopping specials to patronize their local small businesses. The City of Manhattan Beach is working with the Downtown Business and Professional Association, the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce and the North End Business Improvement District to promote this day by encouraging a strong level of participation among businesses and shoppers.
