The City of Manhattan Beach is working with local business associations to promote Small Business Saturday, a national event that has gained recognition in recent years and seeks to promote and celebrate the importance of small shops and restaurants across America.
Businesses throughout Manhattan Beach will be participating in this day by offering deals or other promotions for shoppers who remember to #ShopSmall. Many businesses choose to host special parties, events or tastings on this day to celebrate.
According to the Small Business Administration, there are more than 3.6 million small businesses in California. Excluding home occupation and commercial property establishments, the City of Manhattan Beach is home to almost 400 small businesses that are a cornerstone of the city’s commercial life.
Stay tuned for more updates about day-of events on Small Business Saturday and what kind of amazing #ShopSmall deals you can find!
