Every Wednesday beginning February 1st through April 12th from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, the Joslyn Community Center will offer free assistance to the community with special attention to those 60 and older. No reservation is needed; it is on a first come, first served basis.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides FREE Tax Assistance to older individuals in the Community. IRS trained and certified volunteers will prepare Federal and California Tax returns for the community with special attention to those persons 60 and older. They will handle all aspects of filing under the Affordable Care Act. Taxpayers who want free help should bring their W2s and 1099 forms received in the mail, last year’s tax returns, 2015/2016 property taxes, and other pertinent records. All sites can be found on the South Bay Tax-Aide's website. AARP membership not required.
