Hollywood U2
Based in Los Angeles, Hollywood U2 is the World’s Greatest U2 Tribute Band. The lead singer Joe Hier (aka Hollywood Bono) is the only Bono impersonator to have sung with Bono & U2. This took place at The Forum in Los Angeles on May 26th, 2015 and made International news and headlines and has been covered by Rolling Stone, LA Times, The Daily News, NY Times, Chicago Tribune, etc.
From the sunglasses and costumes to the compelling vocals of the world renowned Hollywood Bono (Joe Hier), Hollywood U2 are consummate musicians who bring the look and sound of U2 and true heart of U2 to every performance with the precision and excitement, of a U2 concert. This show is as close as you can get, aside from hiring U2 themselves. While they can bring any era of U2 to fans they specialize in bringing the iconic Zoo TV and Vertigo tours to U2 fans with the addition, of costume changes, props and video. Their vast experience has taken them around the world, captivating crowds of 10,000 plus. They have countless great references from corporations, to fans and celebrities and are truly Bono approved!
About the Summer Concerts presented by
The Manhattan Beach Summer Concerts presented by OneWest Bank is an annual event held each year at Polliwog Park, it will run from the first weekend of July through the first weekend in September. These performances are free to the public. There are no dogs, barbecues, or wheeled vehicles at any time in the concert area. Your cooperation to keep our parks clean is appreciated. Umbrellas and pop-up tents are allowed before and after the concert. Once the concert begins, you will be required to take them down. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
Handicap parking is available in the Historical Society parking area from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A sign will be posted on the driveway gate when this area is filled. Overflow handicap parking is available in the Begg Pool parking area located at the bottom of the ramp leading to Begg Pool, 1402 North Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
Concerts run on Sundays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, starting the in July through Labor Day weekend.
