Both Waste Management and Athens Services will be observing the Independence Day holiday; therefore, a modified service schedule will be in place.

Refuse (Waste Management)
Waste Management will be observing the Independence Day holiday; therefore, a modified refuse schedule will be in place for collection days July 4th - July 7th.  Collection will be delayed by one day. 

Monday, July 3rd - normal, no changes to route
Tuesday, July 4th - no collection, delayed one day (collection will take place on Wednesday)
Wednesday, July 5th - delayed one day
Thursday, July 6th - delayed one day
Friday, July 7th - delayed one day (collection will take place on Saturday)

Street Sweeping (Athens Services)
Athens will be observing Memorial Day on Tuesday, July 4, 2017; therefore, no street sweeping will occur that day and the route will not be made up.  If you have questions regarding your street sweeping service please contact Athens Services at (888) 336-6100.  Check out all the holidays observed by Athens Services which will affect service days.

The Police Department will not ticket for street sweeping on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
