The Manhattan Beach Art Center (MBAC) is excited to present LIVE, a free series of Thursday night community-building activities designed to enhance artistic skills and develop presentation confidence in local artists.

Open Mic Series
No experience? No problem! LIVE Open Mic is open to everyone —– beginners and old timers alike —– to practice and hone their skills in front of a like-minded, easy-going audience. Whether you’re a poet, musician, comedian, performance artist, or just have something to say, this is where you’re encouraged to emerge. Although we respect free speech, we ask performers to refrain from advertising/promoting businesses, displaying nudity, hate speech and proselytizing.

About LIVE
LIVE is open to everyone ages 16 and up and occurs on the first and last Thursday of the month. The first Thursday of the month will feature Costume Figure Drawing (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and Open Mic is every last Thursday of the month (6:00 PM to 8:00 PM). Parking is available in the Manhattan Beach Art Center parking lot. This event is free (a $12 donation for Costume Figure Drawing models is suggested), and refreshments will be provided along with some great vibes!
