Join us in a conversation about emergency preparedness in Manhattan Beach! Dr. Lucy Jones, the foremost authority on earthquakes, will discuss how a major earthquake will affect our City.
Learn what you need to do to prepare yourself and your family. You will also learn what the City of Manhattan Beach is doing to prepare for earthquakes and other disasters. Hear from our Manhattan Beach Fire Department about how to be as prepared and safe as possible in the event of an emergency.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. the public is invited to attend a Preparedness Expo to learn more about disaster resources, such as:
