The City of Manhattan Beach will host the Neighborhood Information Meeting on Monday, December 10th from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM at The Joslyn Center, Ocean Room 1601 North Valley Drive, Manhattan Beach. The Meeting will be in a casual Open House format to allow visitors to drop by at their convenience to talk to project team members, view exhibits and learn about the project.
The project update/informational meeting will discuss the upcoming Sepulveda Boulevard Bridge Widening Project – a project that will create an additional northbound thru lane and remove the existing traffic bottleneck between 33rd Street and Rosecrans Avenue. This meeting will provide you with an overview of Project’s goals, the City’s anticipated schedule, and what to expect during construction activity related to widening and seismic retrofit of the bridge.
The project is expected to be advertised for bids in the late summer 2019. Construction is expected to start in late Fall 2019 and take approximately 18 months to complete. For more information, please visit the City’s website or contact the City’s Project Manager, Prem Kumar at (310) 802-5352.
