32nd Annual Family Halloween Carnival

Spend your day with us and join in on the frightfully fun games, tricks and treats during our 32nd Annual Family Halloween Carnival at Manhattan Heights Park from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM! Enjoy carnival games, costume contest and parade, face painting, haunted house and much more, perfect for ages 2 to 13. Bring out the entire family and get into the Halloween spirit. Children under the age of 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All game booths are constructed by children in the REC Program and the haunted house is constructed and staffed by Teen Center staff and teens. Events, attractions, and costs are subject to change without notice. Prizes while supplies last.

Costume Contest and Parade 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM on the baseball field

Prizes

  • Judges will be awarding prizes for 1st through 5th place, make sure you come dressed up and show off your costume.

New for 2019 Carnival Bracelets
Each child participating in the Halloween Carnival is recommended to purchase a $10 bracelet. The bracelets includes unlimited use of:

  • Carnival booths
  • Jumper
  • Teen Center haunted house

It also comes with a one time combo meal: choice of hotdog or pizza, drink and chips or fruit.

Additional tickets for activities such as face painting, snow cones, cup cake walk and food both can be purchased for $0.50 cents.

Carnival Game Booths Free for bracelets holders or $0.25 to $2.00
The carnival booth are games are made by the participants of the REC Program and Teen Center. Booths will be closed during the costume parade. Tickets are required. 

Haunted House Free for bracelets holders or $1.00 per person (recommended for children 3 and above)
Haunted house is $1 sponsored by the Teen Center. Haunted house will be closed during the costume parade. Tickets are required.

Cupcake Walk (requires tickets)
Very similar to musical chairs without the elimination. Halloween icons will be placed on the ground in a circle. Participants will walk over the icons while music plays and when the music stops, everyone must stand on one of the icons. If your icon is chosen, you win a cupcake! A new Cupcake Walk will happen about every 20 minutes from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Inflatable Jumpers Free for bracelets holders or 1 ticket per person

Face Painting and Snow Cones (requires tickets)

Food Stand (requires tickets)
Hot dogs, pizza, water, soda, juice, chips, cotton candy, fruit, and popcorn.

Information Booth
Tickets will be sold at the Information Booth. Each ticket costs $0.25. Bills over $20.00 will not be accepted.
