2019 Pumpkin Race Presented by

READY, SET, GO! Get your pumpkin racers to our 29th Annual Pumpkin Race on Sunday, October 27th! Race a pumpkin down Manhattan Beach Boulevard and take part in the spectacle of the Manhattan Beach Pier area transformed into Pumpkin Race Land, where creativity runs wild and cheaters never prosper. Enjoy fun activities for all ages, make your own pumpkin racer and feel the thrill for what promises to be the most fun and unusual Halloween event your family has ever experienced! Don’t forget to show off your costume and bring your Halloween spirit! Races begin at 1:00 PM sharp.

The 29th Annual World Famous Pumpkin Race Festival is a FREE event and will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Manhattan Pier beginning at 12:00 PM.

The day long Downtown Halloween Festival and Pumpkin Race will be filled with fun, excitement, surprises and laughter for all ages.

TURBO PASS
By signing up for a Turbo Pass, you'll have access to the Pumpkin Race Turbo Pass line! Check-in before your allotted time slot to grab your pass, then race your pumpkin between the times listed below. Get your Turbo Pass online starting Saturday, October 5, 2019. Please keep in mind, your Pumpkin Race Turbo Pass will become invalid after the time you signed up for has passed.

Schedule of Events (approximate times only and subject to change)*

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM	Qualifying Races
4:00 PM to 4:15 PM	Pit Stop
4:15 PM to 4:30 PM	Quarterfinals
4:30 PM to 5:00 PM	Semi-Finals
5:00 PM to 5:15 PM	Championship Race

If time permits late racers may be allowed to race for time for fun or may be allowed to race other late racers for a spot in a qualifier (if time permits and without interrupting the flow of the races).

Trick or Treat in Downtown Manhattan Beach

From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (while supplies last) merchants in downtown Manhattan Beach displaying the designating poster in their window, will be giving out treats to trick-or-treaters in costume.
