COVID-19 has forever changed our lives. While COVID-19 is a respiratory illness, it has impacted brain health in many ways due to the isolation and loneliness many have experienced as well as the pathological changes the virus can impose upon the body. Dr. Diaz-Santos will discuss the effect of COVID-19 on brain health as well as dementia diagnosis and treatment.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences; Research Psychologist and Rater, Katherine and Benjamin Kagan Alzheimer’s Disease Treatment Development Program at UCLA Dr. Diaz-Santos will be followed by a panel of practitioners with additional information on evidence-based strategies to promote brain health in our day-to-day lives.
