AARP TAX-AIDE 2021
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be providing free tax preparation service for the upcoming tax season. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, and Tax-Aide’s effort to abide by all safety standards, there will be changes in the way we offer our service.
The AARP Tax-Aide phone line is open to get information to interested individuals, explain the process and available options. Your return will be prepared remotely, and AARP will be communicating with you over the phone or through videoconferencing. AARP Tax-Aide will work with you to decide the best approach that suits your circumstances. Our process requires that your tax documents be digitized.
No in-person services (tax preparation, scanning, etc.) will be allowed.
Tax-Aide has developed a program that provides the capability to prepare returns in a safe, minimal contact manner. Our volunteers have embraced these efforts and are currently being prepared and trained so that much of what we do will be transparent to our clients and result in the same quality returns preparation and support, we have provided in prior years.
