A core component of the Climate Ready Manhattan Beach Initiative is a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan to help prepare the City for range of climate change impacts that are expected through the end of this century. Complementing the sea-level rise presentations from recent workshops, the City is currently assessing additional physical, environmental, and socioeconomic vulnerabilities to climate change and how to best incorporate climate adaptation considerations into existing City decision-making processes and operations. Engaging all voices of the community and stakeholders throughout the process of this project is key to ensuring long-term success. The primary goals of this public meeting are to:

• Gain community input on climate adaptation strategies
• Suggest potential actions that the City can take in the coming years
• Provide opportunities for people to ask questions and get answers
• Share next steps and future opportunities for public engagement
