Walk of Fame Ceremony Red Carpet Ceremony Honoring the 2021 MBO by AVP Winners

This year's tournament will be celebrating 62 years of beach volleyball tradition, honoring greats of the past and present and the second tournament of the 2022 Gold Series! The celebration begins with the Volleyball Walk of Fame red carpet ceremony at the Manhattan Beach Pier Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 3:30 PM to honor 2021’s men’s and women’s champions - Tri Bourne, Trevor Crabb, April Ross, and Alix Klineman.

Manhattan Beach Open (MBO) by AVP
The 2022 MBO Beach Volleyball tournament will be August 19, 2022 to August 21, 2022.

Reigning as the epicenter of our sport, the AVP Gold Series, Manhattan Beach Open reclaims its throne with the promise of solidifying four athletes into the history of beach volleyball on the Manhattan Beach Pier. Packed with decorated Olympians and former event champions, this is guaranteed to be a momentous and historic event for all fans. Event Format: Main Draw is 32 teams 

Prize Purse: $300,000 ($150,000 per gender)
