2022 Pier Lighting and Holiday Open House

Enjoy an evening of holiday music, shopping and dining all at one great location, Downtown Manhattan Beach.

The annual Pier Lighting and Holiday Open House is the official start of the holiday season in Manhattan Beach. It is also downtown Manhattan Beach's local restaurants, retail stores and businesses way of saying thank you to their customers and community for their support and patronage throughout the year. Downtown merchants will be open until 9:00 PM and are sure to offer some distinctive gifts and intriguing offers this holiday season. The restaurants will be serving their original menus and some sampling to get your palette started for an evening of wonderful food. Bring your kids and remember your shopping list!

Holiday Lighting
In addition to the live entertainment throughout downtown Manhattan Beach, the City of Manhattan Beach and the Downtown Business and Professional Association will be lighting the streets for the holidays with snowflake lights and lighted street banner. 

Beach Cities Toy Drive
The Cities of Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach are proud to announce the commencement of the 30th Annual Beach Cities Toy Drive. The Beach Cities Toy Drive is held in with the Cities of Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach during the holiday season. Toys are given to the children serviced by local charities such as: 

To participate in the Annual Beach Cities Toy Drive, please donate unwrapped new toys at tonight's Pier Lighting and Holiday Open House or to the locations listed below by Friday, December 16th:

• Los Angeles County Fire Station No. 100, 540 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach
• Hermosa Beach Police Department, 540 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach (open 24 hours)
• Manhattan Beach Fire Station One, 400 15th Street, Manhattan Beach
• Manhattan Beach City Hall, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach
• DRIVE THROUGH LOCATION: Hermosa Beach City Hall Parking Lot, 1215 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach
  • Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 10th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
