Presentation "Writing in the Shadows" by B.R. O'Hagan
Ghostwriting for top CEOs, the ultra-affluent and national political figures is a highly specialized profession with its own unique set of rules and procedures. In his two-decade career, B.R. O’Hagan has written for clients as diverse as the CEOs of several of the world’s largest corporations, a former US Secretary of State, two current US state governors, and a former Director of the CIA. In this presentation, O’Hagan will discuss what it takes to be successful at this level, with a special focus on specific skills and attitudes the writer must master to produce work of lasting quality.
Topics will include how to find clients; what is it like to spend your writing career in the shadows; the rules that govern relationships with the ultra-affluent and political leaders; the one skill you must master above all others; why your pre-conceived assumptions about your client can ruin the project; pay and perks, and much more.
Brad will hand out QR codes for those who would like to download a free e-book. There will also be a sign-up sheet for anyone who would like a free download of his most recent novel in audiobook format.
